April 6th
Hello children!!!
Hope you had a nice
weekend. We are ready to start!
Watch this video and
follow the instructions. These are stressing days. We hope it helps you unwind
a little…
Now let´s start work!
Open your Compass
book on page10.
Now let's read the
story. Play the following audio as you read it
Once you listened and read the story,
answer the following questions in your folder:
- What does Astrid’s mother want her to do?
- How does Astrid feel about her chores at the
beginning of the story?
- What rights and responsibilities do people havei
n Astrid’s kingdom?
- Why can’t Astrid find something to eat?
- Why does Astrid get upset when she talks to the
gardener?
- How does Astrid’s mom
react when she gets back from the store?
When Astrid says “If I’m in charge some day, I’ll let people
have fun all the time. I won’t make them do things they don’t want to”,
what does it come to your mind? Does this remind you of something or someone?
(this question is for you to think about, you don't need to answer this on your
folder!).
Task 2: Some
more practice on Simple Past. Do the following activity:
Once you finish, remember to click on
“Terminado/Enviar mis respuestas a mi profesor” and write the following code: dtaek1gpn3
Keep on working hard and ask me if you have a question.
Elbow bump!
Miss Meli

Hi Miss Meli.
ResponderBorrarIn task 2 I thought that I had to use the past simple and the past continuous. But when I send you the answers all the past continuous verbs were wrong. Is it really wrong? All the verbs should be in past simple?
Thanks
Bauti
Yes!! I realized that! You were supposed to use only simple past.Love, Meli
